Cameroon Frères du Noun Coffeebeans 250G

Add a review

The Frères du Noun plantation is located in the West Province of Cameroon, in the department of Noun, between Lake Bamendjing and Lake Petpenoun. Founded in 1931, the plantation knew a long period of abandonment until being bought in 2004, by two brothers who fell in love with Cameroon and coffee: Patrick and Jacques Desplaces.

Located at an altitude of 1150m, the plantation was completely replanted with Arabica coffee trees of the Java variety, between 2006 and 2009, under the advice of CIRAD expert Didier Snoeck and an old producer Mr. Drotz, to arrive today at around 60Ha. The coffee trees benefit from a volcanic soil rich in basalt.

Coffee is only harvested by hand, cherry by cherry, from October to January, by 250 people.
