Coffee began in the 19th century with the entrepreneurship of various small farmers now called small producers. Before World War II, coffee was mainly grown in Antioquia, where today coffee is mainly produced. During this period, Colombia became the second largest producer in the world after Brazil. After having experienced various ups and downs within the country, Colombia retreats to the podium and retains third place as a world producer.
Colombia Pure Origin is a very special selection: The coffee is more selected, sorted qualitatively, which makes our green coffee beans more uniform when selecting. The cup of coffee ends up surprisingly clean with pronounced notes of ripe fruit. With Italian roasting, the fruit notes become aromas of smoked hazelnuts.
