Rwanda still offers a high selection coffee. The coffee is planted and washed in the famous Mushonyi washing station. This coffee will be called "Isimbi selection" for the harvest of the end of 2018. The coffee has a profile of brown sugar and blood orange that gives a taste pleasure to each tasting. Indeed, Rwanda being on a rocky ground, it allows the coffee trees to draw in their own forces: the coffees are more intense, have more body. A true local wine, but coffee version.
The washing station is located in Rutsiro district. We are talking about a plantation and station located at more than 1800 meters. The harvest, it can go up to nearly 2,000 meters above sea level: we are talking about real specialty coffee. In Myshonyi, the staff is stable and is very well equipped for post-harvest. Indeed, the staff is very qualified to perform sorting of the coffee with the visual inspection. This is a manual work, hence the specialty coffee.
