Farm owned by Arnaud Causse, Las Terrazas del Pisque is located in an area of extreme conditions for coffee between 1800 and 2100 meters above sea level. In the region of Pichincha near Quito, Vilcabamba's climate is desert, the average temperature in Vilcabamba is 25.7 ° C and the average rainfall is 192.4 mm.
The farm is 100 hectares and 50 hectares are planted with coffee. The arid region produces coffee only through an irrigation system Arnaud has installed on the mountain top. The farm has the same varieties as Las Tolas. Next to his coffee production, Arnaud also produces lavender which he intends to extract essential oil and vine.
So it's a crazy project!
The farm, in addition to producing coffee, also produces lavender, whose purpose is one day to make essential oil, as well as vine.
